Sarah advises CEOs and senior executives on all matters relating to leadership. She is known for her calm discretion and her extensive understanding of the demands of leadership, her guidance of elegant succession and the planning of successful careers.

She works with public and private companies of different scopes and scale across all sectors, mostly in Southern Africa and is also engaged by partners in professional service firms. She has lived and worked in Ireland, the UK, France and South Africa.

Sarah was Managing Partner and founder of the Woodburn Mann Leadership Science Institute and prior to that, she was a member of the leadership advisory team at global search firm Spencer Stuart. In 2022 Sarah founded Pembroke as a platform for her books and her leadership advisory services.

Sarah has published two best-selling books on leadership. Find Your Focus: 5 Steps to Your Best Year Ever and Keep Your Focus: 40 Thought Pieces on Maintaining Your Top Performance. She is in regular demand as a speaker on topics of leadership. 

Sarah holds a Master’s degree from Trinity College Dublin and an MPhil from the University of Stellenbosch’s Business School. She is an accredited Executive Coach and Chairman of the Stellenbosch and District Riding Club. She also sits on the Board of Odessa Property Fund.

Sarah’s interests include equestrian sports, particularly eventing where she has competed at international level.
